Tandoori Paneer Tikka

Paneer tikka is a popular vegetarian dish. Tikka means anything that is marinated and then baked/grilled/fried. Tikka marinade can be made at home with yogurt, besan, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, garam masala, chaat powder, black salt, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, oil etc. Here, I used readymade marinade paste.


  • 3 cups paneer cubes
  • 1 packet of tandoori chicken marinade
  • ½ cup curd


  • Add marinade and curd to paneer cubes
  • Mix well
  • Cover and keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan
  • Add marinated paneer cubes
  • Cook on low flame

  • Keep stirring in between so that paneer gets cooked on all sides
  • In 7-8 minutes, marinade gets reduced and paneer cubes become dry
  • Transfer to plate and enjoy with mint chutney!
