Paneer tikka is a popular vegetarian dish. Tikka means anything that is marinated and then baked/grilled/fried. Tikka marinade can be made at home with yogurt, besan, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, garam masala, chaat powder, black salt, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, oil etc. Here, I used readymade marinade paste.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups paneer cubes
- 1 packet of tandoori chicken marinade
- ½ cup curd
Method:
- Add marinade and curd to paneer cubes
- Mix well
- Cover and keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan
- Add marinated paneer cubes
- Cook on low flame
- Keep stirring in between so that paneer gets cooked on all sides
- In 7-8 minutes, marinade gets reduced and paneer cubes become dry
- Transfer to plate and enjoy with mint chutney!
