Sohan halwa is a solid and sweet dish, can be made in 20 minutes. This recipe is very quick and easy.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp milk powder
- ½ cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- Dry fruits/nuts: cashew, almonds and pumpkin seeds
Method:
- Mix wheat flour, all-purpose flour and milk powder and keep it aside
- Cut almonds and cashews in pieces/halves
- Grease the muffin pan with ghee (you can use small bowls instead)
- Place pumpkin seeds and dry fruit pieces
- Set the tray aside
- In a pan, add ghee and sugar and start making caramel on low flame
- Keep stirring until sugar melts completely
- Turn off the stove
- Without any delay, start adding the flour mix
- It starts hardening
- Quickly, add spoonful of mixture into muffin wells
- Keep it aside to set for 15-30 minutes
- With the help of knife, separate each from the muffin tray
- Enjoy the sweet, nutty, and crunchy sweet!
