Brussel sprouts are the most powerful cold-weather superfoods containing immunity booster vitamin C and cancer-fighting glucosinolates.
Asparagus is low in calories and packed with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Ingredients:
- 1-pound Brussel sprouts
- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 3 tbs Olive oil
- Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper powder
- 4-5 Garlic cloves
- 1 ½ cup shredded cheese
Method:
- Wash Brussel sprouts. Cut them into equal-sized halves.
- Wash asparagus and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
- Toss the vegetables in a mixing bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper powder.
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Transfer asparagus and Brussel sprouts to the baking pan (cover it with aluminum foil) and spread them out evenly.
- Place the veggies into the oven to roast for about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, take a small pan, add oil to it, and heat it.
- Add minced garlic and roast it until light brown.
- After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the oven.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over top. Return to oven and broil until the cheese is melted and golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Spread the roasted garlic and serve.
