This dosa recipe is a delicious dish made with jaggery and wheat flour.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups wheat flour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 1 cup jaggery
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- ¼ tsp baking powder
Method:
- Take jaggery and add 1 cup water
- Either heat the solution on medium flame or soak jaggery in water until jaggery dissolves
- Add wheat flour and rice flour to the jaggery solution and make a thin batter
- You can use a blender to make the batter
- Add cardamom powder and baking powder
- Mix well
- Heat a pan and grease with oil
- Pour the batter and spread it from the center to outwards in circular motion
- Drizzle or spray oil cook on medium flame
- Once bottom part becomes brownish, flip the dosa
- Cook well on other side too
- You can make small bite sized dosas if you want.
- Finally take out the dosa and enjoy with ghee.
