Sweet Wheat Dosa


This dosa recipe is a delicious dish made with jaggery and wheat flour.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder

Method:

  • Take jaggery and add 1 cup water
  • Either heat the solution on medium flame or soak jaggery in water until jaggery dissolves
  • Add wheat flour and rice flour to the jaggery solution and make a thin batter
  • You can use a blender to make the batter
  • Add cardamom powder and baking powder
  • Mix well

  • Heat a pan and grease with oil
  • Pour the batter and spread it from the center to outwards in circular motion
  • Drizzle or spray oil cook on medium flame
  • Once bottom part becomes brownish, flip the dosa
  • Cook well on other side too
  • You can make small bite sized dosas if you want.
  • Finally take out the dosa and enjoy with ghee.
