White sauce pasta is simply cooked pasta mixed with a silky-smooth white sauce, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, and garlic, seasoned with Italian herbs, and topped with red chili flakes.
White sauce can be made easily at home with butter, all-purpose flour, and milk. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a pan over low heat. Add 2 tbsp all-purpose flour into the melted butter. Cook over low heat, stirring, for a full 2 minutes to minimize the taste of the flour. It should become thick and bubbly. Turn up the heat slightly, then slowly add 1 cup of milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a low simmer and continue cooking slowly until the white sauce is smooth and thickened, about 10 minutes.
I used store-bought four-cheese Alfredo sauce.
