This is a very simple recipe and leftover rice can be used to make it. Schezwan sauce is a uniquely flavorsome, delicious, hot, and spicy sauce made with red chilies, garlic, and soy sauce. I use the ready-made sauce. You can make it at home if you want.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 tbs Schezwan chili-garlic sauce
- 1 tsp oil
- Mustard seeds ½ spoon
- Cumin seeds ½ spoon
- Onion- 1 medium
- Salt
- (optional)- mixed vegetables and or eggs if you like.
Method:
- Cut onion into long slices or pieces.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
- Add mustard, cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add onion and sauté until golden.
- Add sauce and then rice. Mix it well. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add salt.
- Serve hot.
