Protein Powder


This homemade protein powder is made from makhana, nuts and other seeds. It can be customized to your needs. Keep this healthy vegan blend in your fridge and use it for smoothies or protein drinks.

Ingredients:

  1. Makhana
  2. Walnuts
  3. Flax seeds
  4. Pumpkin seeds
  5. Cashews
  6. Almonds
  7. Chia seeds
  8. Milk powder

Method:

  • Dry roast all the above-mentioned ingredients separately except chia seeds and milk powder
  • Let them cool down
  • Blend all the roasted ingredients by adding chia seeds to it
  • Add milk powder to the blended powder

  • Mix well
  • Store in an air-tight container
  • Keep it in the refrigerator for longer shelf life
  • Add 1 tbsp protein powder to warm milk (add sugar if you want) and your high protein drink is ready!
  • Use this powder while making any smoothies.

    1. Sure, you can. Most of the ingredients contain oils and if you keep it outside for long period, they get rancid. That’s why keeping in refrigerator keeps it fresh for longer time. You can make it in small amount every time and in that case you do not need to refrigerate it.
