Jowar puffs are nutritious and healthy to digest. This is a quick and yummy snack recipe.
Ingredients:
- 400 gms jowar (sorghum) puffs
- ½ cup oil
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- ½ cup puffed chana dal
- 7-8 dried red chilies
- Curry leaves
- 8-9 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt
- 1 tbs cumin powder
- 1 tbs coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
Method:
- Make course paste of garlic cloves
- Take a pan, add oil and heat it
- Add mustard and cumin seeds and let them crackle
- Add raw peanuts and roasted chana daal and fry them until peanuts change color
- Add garlic paste, red chilies and curry leaves
- Once garlic changes color, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt
- Mix well and turn off the stove
- Once the mixture cools down, mix it well with jowar puffs until puffs coat well with the mixture
- This recipe stays good for a month
