Cheesy Avocado Toast


This is an easy, quick and healthy breakfast recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Avocados
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped tomatoes

  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • Black pepper powder
  • Grated cheese
  • Butter
  • Bread slices (I used sourdough bread, but any type of bread can be used)
  • Method:
  • Run knife around the seed and twist open avocado firstly
  • Take out the seed
  • Scoop the pulp and chop it roughly

  • Mash it or blend it
  • Add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, black pepper powder, salt, lemon juice to avocado and mix well
  • Spread the butter on one bread slice and spread avocado mixture on the second slice
  • Add cheese over the avocado mixture
  • Heat the pan, add some butter and place both slices over it
  • Once the buttered slice becomes golden brown and crunchy on lower side, place it on the other slice with crunchy side inside of the sandwich
  • Press it down with the spatula
  • Flip the sandwich and add butter if needed
  • Take out the sandwich after both sides of sandwich become crispy and golden
  • Cut the sandwich into half and serve!
